We kicked off Nashville AI Week week with the community happy hour last night and I am so glad I went! It reminded me of just how diverse the AI and tech space really is. If you are passionate about what you do, standing on what you believe in, and showing up ethically in business, your people will find you. It may not happen right away. It may take being told no, being turned away from rooms, or having people completely turned off by your mission. But stay true to who you are and keep going, because the right people will find you. That was the conversation me, Lynsi, an AI Learning Framework consultant and AiDaaS creator, and Tonya Stout , a TEDx speaker, faith-based entrepreneur, and AI messaging strategist, fell into last night. And it was exactly the kind of reminder we all needed last night. I also got to meet inspiring people like Emily Johnson , NextGen Co-Chair for Play Like a Girl!® , a nonprofit using the power of sports to build confidence, leadership, and career pathways for girls in STEM and beyond. Emily is here at Nashville AI Week speaking on a panel about how nonprofits can harness AI to deepen their mission impact. Her session is May 14 at 2:00 PM and I’m looking forward to hopefully stopping by! The work she is doing to help young women see themselves as leaders is the kind of thing that makes a room worth being in and I fully believe in. These were just a few of the people I met last night, but honestly, that alone made the night (and staying to yap 2 hours past the end of the event)worth it It was also great to run into familiar faces like Ankur Patwa , who you may know from co-hosting the Nashville Product Meetup community here in town. Always good to be in a room where you can meet someone new and reconnect with someone you already respect. Yesterday was already a win. Today the learning begins. Swing by to hear from our Trinetix CTO Sam Ferrise on two panels: 👉🏽 How Winning Teams Are Actually Driving ROI with AI at 11:00 AM | Main Stage 👉🏽Building Successful Enterprise AI Use Cases at 12:20 PM | Stage 2 I will also be at the Women in AI and Business Breakfast tomorrow morning, May 14, 8:00 to 10:00 AM. If you are here at Nashville AI Week and want to connect, reach out and let me know...especially if you are even half as cool as the people I met last night!! #NashvilleAIWeek #AI #Nashville #WomenInAI #EnterpriseAI
