Last week, we had the opportunity to meet Commissioner Wopke Hoekstra and discuss the EU Emission Trading Scheme (ETS). With Oatly , we joined an initiative from a large business coalition, representing 80 Nordic businesses with a combined global annual revenue of €303 billion and employing 653,000 people. Including the likes of Volvo Group , Electrolux Group , Vattenfall , Ørsted , and Danske Bank . Together, we called for safeguarding and strengthening the integrity of the EU ETS. The timing is critical because the file is open for revision this year, and we are in the midst of an energy crisis. 👉 The ETS is a key incentive for decarbonisation and the adoption of renewable energy sources, which can reduce the EU's fossil fuel dependence from abroad, making our entire economy and society more resilient and benefitting the environment and future generations. 👈 One crucial thing is missing, though, when looking at carbon pricing policies in Europe: Food. The agrifood sector is a key driver of CO2 emissions and the first in line to take the blows of climate change. From Oatly 's perspective, we support introducing a separate carbon pricing mechanism for agriculture and food products. So that the climate impact of food production is better reflected in market prices, while safeguarding access and affordability to healthy food and supporting farmers. All of this is meant to reward climate innovation and ensure future food supply. Creating, in the long term, a more resilient food system, economy, and society overall. --- Interesting months will follow... As the counterlobby is vocally pushing for deregulation, loopholes, and delays. This requires much more momentum, beyond the Nordics. Huge congrats and thanks to the Climate Leadership Coalition for convening the business community around this important topic and opening doors to key decision-makers. They are the go-to organisation to get involved. Personal kudos to Tuuli Kaskinen and Tapio Laakso . Your work is so much needed.
May 2026The awesome Tryg GLC team celebrated tonight that we’ve been included on Legal500’s Powerlist – and four representatives attended on behalf of the team!! It’s worth pausing to celebrate the value in-house legal teams bring to a company as both business enablers and guardians, when the collaboration with the business and leadership is at its best. I’m happy to be part of a team with some truly outstanding examples of the kind 😀😀🥳🥳 A big thank you to EY and Legal500 for the recognition.

Apr 2026Dear employers and organizational leaders, There is a quiet shift happening in how high-performing organizations operate. They are no longer asking only: “How do we get more output?” They are now asking: “What is reducing our people’s capacity to perform?” And they act on the answers. They invest in: Better ergonomics Smarter workstation design Sustainable workflows Because they understand that performance is not just about input. It is also about workplace conditions. And when the workplace conditions improve, output follows. What is your organization doing differently beyond just expecting more from your people? #leadership #workplacehealth #corporatewellness #employeewellbeing
