Great work by our Unitywater team with our design and construction partners on behalf of our customers of the future in the City of Moreton Bay
Aug 2026It was great to spend time with Mayor Peter Flannery and Councillors at City of Moreton Bay today, providing an update on Unitywater’s FY25 performance and our priorities for the current year. In a 24/7 utility environment, it can be easy to move from navigating one challenge to the next, without pausing to reflect on the volume and breadth of work and achievement in between. Moments like this with one of our shareholders help me reflect on the outcomes our team are delivering for our customers, and are great for receiving the latest community feedback. I’m proud of our people who safely deliver reliable services to our customers – with some of the best network performance in the country – while balancing the requirement of the rapid growth across the region which has us welcoming new customers every day.
Nov 2025Happy National Water Week to water professionals all over Australia. From my various roles in the water industry, at Unitywater, as a Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) Director and with the Australian Government’s Australian Water Partnership I continue to be optimistic that we are working to create water security and water quality for future generations, innovating to turn waste and by-products into something useful, and at the forefront of environmental research and improvements. Thanks to all our industry workers for your go-to attitude, what an excellent industry we are a part of! Oct 2025It’s the final day of WaterAid Walk for Water, and I’ve really enjoyed exploring many beautiful parts of our wonderful region. Thank you for coming on the journey with me. Today I’m walking along the Noosa Coast Headland to raise awareness and money towards parts of the world who don’t have access to safe, clean drinking water. So far this week, we’ve raised much needed funds for a cause that helps unlock access to this essential resource for communities all over the world. Oct 2025The #WalkForWater continues in Maleny, where I am walking with my dog Tara, to raise money for WaterAid. Just four minutes from here, Unitywater’s Maleny Wastewater Treatment Plant is setting a new benchmark in sustainability, removing 99% of nitrogen and 98.8% of phosphorus before releasing treated water to Obi Obi Creek. It’s a powerful example of how advanced technology and nature-based solutions can work together to protect our waterways and communities. WaterAid Walk for Water helps raise money for safe, clean drinking water, as well as the installation and maintenance of proper toilets and sanitation facilities – something often forgotten about but takes a lot of work! Oct 2025Halfway through WaterAid Walk for Water and we're a third of the way to our fundraising goal! This week, I’m taking 10 thousand steps a day for communities who must walk long distances to collect water for their families. Today’s location of choice is Lake Eden in North Lakes – only a five-minute drive from our Mango Hill office! Please help me keep the momentum going by sharing my fundraising page with your friends and family. Every donation makes a difference, even $5 can go a long way in supporting those who need it most. Thank you so much for your generosity, it truly means a lot! 😊 Learn more or donate: https://lnkd.in/gPaNBjVM #WaterAid #WalkForWater #WalkForWater2025 #Unitywater Unitywater WaterAid Australia
