One of the things I enjoy most about reviewing our monthly customer feedback is seeing what customers choose to remember. They appreciate when an issue is resolved quickly. But what they remember most is the person who gave them confidence. They remember the person who: ✔ Found the real problem instead of the one they thought they had. ✔ Explained a complex issue in terms they could understand. ✔ Was patient, professional, and stayed with them until the issue was resolved. ✔ Made the process feel easier than they expected. Those comments are a reminder that technical expertise is only part of a great customer experience. Customers place their trust in us when we combine expertise with clear communication, ownership, and a genuine commitment to helping them succeed. Reading this month's feedback, I saw those qualities reflected time and again across Customer Operations. Thank you to Breanna Graham, Corey Serna, DeWayne Conklin-Strohm, Jeney Vroman, Marcus Haynes, Marley Mazzara, Patrick Geoghegan, Quinn White, Scott Van Parys, and Steven Reame for representing Vertafore so well and giving our customers confidence when it mattered most. Every interaction is an opportunity to build customer confidence. It is encouraging to see so many examples of our team doing exactly that. What behaviors have you found make the biggest difference in building customer confidence?
Jul 2026Yesterday was my favorite day working at Vertafore . Yesterday we restarted the NetVU Georgia group with the help of Angela Adams Mary Ann Pruitt Adrienne Colvard Alyssia Dugas Emily Ball Stephanie Swaim and Crystal H. Meador, CIC, CISR . In an industry that is so competitive it is truly refreshing to see people come together to learn and help one another get better. When we get better so do the communities we serve, and the teams we lead. Then I ended the day getting to take Rylan Ferguson Jacob Sherrill and Peyton Stamey to a baseball game. If you are ever in Atlanta you gotta catch a game at Truist Park. Easily a top 10 stadium to watch baseball at. #insurance #insurtech
May 2026Customer trust is earned through every interaction, every project milestone, and every moment where expertise is paired with empathy. I recently received feedback that described the work of our team as “breaking the scale” on the survey. That phrase stood out because it captures something I see often across Customer Operations: deep functional expertise delivered with professionalism, partnership, and a genuine commitment to helping customers succeed. A sincere thank you to Riley Flinn, Erin Dougherty, and Tahleal Garrett for the work you did on this project. The customer specifically recognized not only your specialized knowledge, but also the way you made that knowledge accessible, practical, and supportive for people who do not live in the details every day. That combination is not common. Technical depth matters. Process discipline matters. But when those strengths are paired with patience, clarity, and customer empathy, the impact is different. Thank you for representing Vertafore and Customer Operations so well. This is what trust-building execution looks like.
May 2026Another great Vertafore Accelerat conference with our partners at NetVU in Las Vegas. A few of the highlights for me was the Orange Partner kickoff party at Atomic Golf (sadly I forgot to take any pictures), the Keynote from Amy and James announcing our new AI strategy and first set of Velocity Agents, Damon John (just bought some Bomba socks), and the Customer Appreciation Party at the Liv beach and nightclub. Celebrated my 16 year anniversary in style with some of my best friends in what was in my opinion the best Accelerate conference I have attended. #NetVUAccelerate
Apr 2026This year's Accelerate was the best one yet. The vibe from our clients, partners, and the entire Vertafore team was unreal. You could feel the energy everywhere. From the constant buzz at the booth to the depth of our conversations within client meetings, there was a real excitement about driving value together. It was amazing to see the response to our innovation- especially the momentum behind the Vertafore Velocity AI platform and how we are tackling the "distribution drag" and where we are headed. Three years ago, I said I was coming home to Vertafore. Being back and experiencing this alongside with such a passionate team... and with clients we genuinely care about... was something special. I couldn't be prouder of this team. I love the group I get to work with every day, and we truly love our clients. Customer success is our success! #Accelerate2026 #WeAreV4 #VelocityAI
Apr 2026What I love most about my job is the people. Both at Vertafore , our agencies, and the many many companies that choose to partner with us to serve the insurance industry. Accelerate Vegas was everything I hoped it would be and more. A week filled with learning, connecting with incredible people, and getting to spend quality time with my team and customers. See you all next year! Now let's see how many people LinkedIn will let me tag in this post! Stephanie Swaim Doris G.
