On tour #2: Last week, I continued my Europe journey with visits to our sites in Belgium and the Netherlands. Each with a clear focus within their specific areas of expertise. Stop 1: NEDCON (Doetinchem, NL) 
 Our specialist in smart and safe storage solutions. I met a highly motivated team that is currently working intensively on new projects. At their office I was impressed by a new showroom for our customers. Stop 2: voestalpine Automotive Components Bunschoten (NL) 
 Whenever I come here, I see the site continuously strengthen its capabilities in scalable production and the spare parts business— from optimizing processes and significant logistical improvements to strong safety initiatives such as the strict separation of pedestrians and vehicles across the production site. Stop 3: voestalpine Sadef nv (Belgium) 
 Our roll-forming specialist is continuing it’s strong performance. Several major construction projects are underway, including a new slitting machine, a paint shop and a new visitor center. I am already looking forward to our next anniversary celebrations there. My main takeaway: Across all locations, it is great to see how our teams combine deep expertise with a shared mindset: a strong passion for our technologies, a drive to keep improving and the ambition to innovate every day. This dedication is what makes our Metal Forming Division so successful.

Strong financial Leadership is a Key Factor in navigating increasingly complex Market Environments. With Eva Aigner assuming the role of CFO of the Metal Engineering Division, voestalpine continues to strengthen this capability from within. The Division represents a significant part of the Group; in the 2024/25 business year it generated EUR 4.2 billion in revenue and employed around 15,100 people worldwide. The CFO function today goes far beyond finance in a narrow sense. It integrates controlling, accounting, and risk management, while also overseeing areas such as IT, legal affairs, and data protection. Eva Aigner brings more than 20 years of experience within voestalpine, combining deep operational understanding with broad leadership experience. She represents a profile that reflects the increasing breadth of the role as Chief Financial Officer. Congratulations to Eva Aigner on this new position, and sincere thanks to her predecessor, Martin Reisetbauer, for his many years of excellent work. voestalpine raises Efficiency, Speed, and Data Quality in Material Testing to a new Level More than 4,300 m² at our Linz site are dedicated to centralizing all quality-critical testing processes for flat steel and fully integrated into digital workflows. Around 45 specialists conduct more than 85,000 tests per month in this world's most modern testing facility for steel quality, complemented by another 100,000 tests directly at production lines. Efficiency gains are tangible. Test cycles of formerly several days are now typically completed in a maximum of eight hours. A high degree of automation – from driverless transport systems and digital sample tracking to full integration into the Manufacturing Execution System – ensures consistent, reproducible results and end-to-end traceability. The center covers 59 testing methods, 117 sample geometries, and 150 testing and production systems, all digitally mapped. This allows precise control, faster decision-making, and consistent quality standards.
