One of the most exciting parts of building at Whatnot is getting to watch entirely new businesses emerge in real time. Sellers are turning expertise and passion into full-time work. Buyers are forming real relationships with the people they shop from. And the scale happening across the platform is unlike anything I’ve seen in commerce. Really proud of the team for landing at #8 on CNBC’s 2026 Disruptor 50. Still feels like day one.
May 2026Before joining Whatnot, I'd read the line "we eat our own dog food" in plenty of company handbooks. It usually meant nothing. Here it means every Whatnaut goes live and sells items themselves regularly. We all answer customer service tickets and we all get a monthly budget to actually shop on the platform. Our founders included. It changes how decisions get made, because nobody is detached from the experience our sellers and buyers are having. The pace here is wild but the trade is being part of something genuinely new that's impacting so many people and businesses' lives. I'll take that trade every time.
May 2026Time really does fly when you’re having fun. This week marks 4 years at Whatnot, and it’s pretty incredible to look back at how much both the company and I have grown since I started. Over the last four years, I’ve had more opportunities to expand and enrich my professional experience than I ever imagined possible. From building relationships with sellers and creators to helping scale new programs and initiatives, every year has brought new challenges, lessons, and growth. What makes it even more special is seeing just how far Whatnot has come. Watching the platform evolve from where we started to where we are today has been amazing, and I’m incredibly proud to be part of a team that continues to push the boundaries of live shopping and community commerce. Here’s to the next chapter 🚀
May 2026Incredible weekend with Whatnot sellers. Being in a room with hundreds of entrepreneurs who care deeply about what we’re building, and about each other, is what makes this community different. Proud to support this community as we build!
