They say time flies when you’re doing work that matters. After nearly 18 years with Wounded Warrior Project, I can confirm that’s true. Working here has taught me the true meaning of resilience. I have seen firsthand how this mission saves lives, and having a small part in that has been the honor of a lifetime. Looking back, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the warriors and families who shared their journeys with us and the teammates who became family. This mission is about more than just service, it’s about community and the life-saving impact of showing up for those who have sacrificed so much. To the mentors who guided me and the team I’ve had the joy of leading: THANK YOU. You are the heartbeat of this organization. Though I am moving on, I will always be a champion for this mission and the service members we serve. Thank you for 18 unforgettable years.
