This week is the culmination of so many months of work. From on-campus events, one-on-one chats with candidates, the review of literally thousands of applications, countless interviews, and 20+ offers since March alone, I've been busy. (And I couldn't have done it without Nicole and Gwen helping out SO much). But this moment makes it all worth it. Most of our interns at Zions Bancorporation and Zions Bank started this week! We had our new employee orientation today, and I warned them to get ready for a summer filled with many opportunities to take pictures. (They probably will be annoyed with me saying that by the beginning of August). Our internship program provides so many opportunities for gaining real-world experience, networking with executives and other senior leaders, and developing personally and professionally. I love serving as a mentor and guide to the interns over the summer. It's my fourth summer working with the internship program, and I'm so proud of what we have accomplished. Every intern brings a unique perspective and valuable contributions. The internship is a fantastic opportunity for interns to see why Zions is a great place to work filled with all the best people. Here's to a great summer! #ZionsBanker
May 2026Just wrapped up an incredible three days at the Zions Bancorporation enterprise-wide hackathon! 🎉 This marked my third season participating, and it was just as fun and rewarding as ever. One of the things I love most about this experience is how it brings people from completely different departments together. It pushes us out of our day-to-day routines and gives us a fresh lens to look through. Hackathons are the perfect sandbox for exploring new areas, testing out wild ideas, and gaining entirely new perspectives. Over the three-day event, my team and I dove into new technologies to solve complex problems specifically focusing on AI-driven solutions. There is nothing quite like the energy of cross-functional collaboration, and we had an absolute blast building together. Now, the anticipation sets in I can't wait to see the final results and find out what all the other amazing teams built! Already looking forward to the next season. 🚀 #Hackathon #Innovation #ZionsBancorp #Teamwork #AI #Tech #ContinuousLearning #TechCommunity Zions Bancorporation
May 2026Day 1: Vision & Validation at #nSight2026 Great start to the week in Charlotte. A few key reflections from the Executive Summit and Product Owner forum: • AI as a Partner, not a Tool: A great takeaway from nCino’s leadership. We’re moving beyond software that we "use" toward digital partners that work alongside us to drive efficiency. • Process Before Tech: The discussions reinforced that a clear vision and a solid process must lead the way. Technology is the accelerator, but the people, vision and forward looking leadership are the most important assets. • Strategic Validation: It was incredibly helpful to hear from institutions that have been on the nCino platform for years and their strategies for the years to come. Learning about their challenges and resolutions was insightful, but more importantly, it validated our path at Zions Bancorporation . I’m leaving today feeling more confident than ever in our position and our vision for the Commercial Lending Transformation. Looking forward to Day 2!
May 2026Proud to be back at the Zions Bancorporation Hackathon for the second consecutive year. There’s something special about stepping away from the day-to-day and building something bold in a compressed timeframe. Two years in, and I’m still hooked. What participating gives you: → A rare space to innovate without boundaries → Collaboration across teams and disciplines → Hands-on problem solving that sharpens your instincts → Direct exposure to how ideas become impact → A network built on shared energy and shared goals Hackathons aren’t just for engineers. They’re for anyone who refuses to be a spectator. If your company runs a hackathon, sign up. Twice, if you can. #ZionsBancorporation #Hackathon #Innovation #Banking #CareerGrowth #ProductOwner

May 2026I’m sharing this announcement for my colleague and friend, Joel Alindogan, whom many in my LinkedIn network have known and partnered with over the years. This is a bittersweet moment for me, as Joel and I have worked side by side for more than 20 years across three different banks. While I’ll truly miss having him on my team, I couldn’t be happier for him as he begins this well‑deserved next chapter. If you’re connected to Joel, please join me in congratulating him on an incredible career and in wishing him a long, healthy, and joyful retirement. After nearly 35 years in banking and financial services, effective May 1, 2026, Joel Alindogan is retiring with well‑earned pride in a remarkable career defined by growth, innovation, and collaboration. As Senior Vice President at Zions Bancorporation, Joel has led consumer and small business lending product initiatives that strengthened financial performance, enhanced the customer experience, and delivered meaningful, enterprise‑wide impact. His tenure reflects not only strong results, but also a deep commitment to thoughtful leadership, partnership, and developing others across the organization. Throughout his tenure at Zions, Joel played a pivotal role in launching new products, modernizing pricing and underwriting practices, and driving sustained portfolio growth, while also mentoring talent both within his teams and across the enterprise. His lasting contributions include establishing a quarterly HELOC utilization campaign that has generated nearly $1B in line utilization since 2021; developing a highly optimized HELOC End‑of‑Draw prequalification program that delivered substantial improvements in retained balances; introduced consumer and small business lending risk‑based pricing that has driven significant enhanced profitability, and created a tiered HELOC early‑closure fee that meaningfully reduced excessive refinancing while enhancing balance retention. He also helped institutionalize an industry benchmarking process and led numerous additional high‑impact initiatives that continue to benefit the organization today. Notably, under Joel’s leadership, the consumer lending product portfolio has materially grown in outstanding balances, driving substantial profitability growth during his tenure. Joel’s distinguished career also includes senior leadership roles at BBVA Compass Bank and Citigroup, where he built and managed large card and loan businesses, developed high‑performing teams, and successfully led complex initiatives from concept through execution. Known for his financial and analytical rigor, strategic perspective, and people‑first leadership style, Joel has earned deep respect and admiration from executive leadership, colleagues, and key vendor partners. As he begins his next chapter, Joel leaves behind a legacy of integrity, mentorship, and measurable impact that will continue to influence the teams he helped shape.
