Wrapped up the Google Cloud Generative AI Leader certification today. It was a useful exercise, the kind that makes you re-examine the things you do every day. Most of my time over the last 1.5 years at Zupee has gone into building production GenAI systems: agentic pipelines, retrieval and memory, real-time voice AI, content safety, and the distributed systems work that quietly keeps any of it standing. The exam pulled me out of the code and back into the why: strategy, trade-offs, where the leverage really is. Around the same time, I've also stepped into a Lead Machine Learning Engineer role here. A nice moment to pause and say thank you to the team that backed me into the scope. Plenty more to learn.
