LinkedIn company profileZynga was founded in 2007 with the vision that play would become one of the core activities on the Internet. We pioneered social games with the belief that if we could make games simple, accessible and social the world would start playing. We are excited that games have grown to become the second most popular activity by time spent, even surpassing email. But we have a lot of hard work, innovation

10 years in Canada since I was a 17-year-old international student. Still a foreigner. Still fighting to stay. 💔 My permanent residence application was rejected. As a result, my job at Zynga was terminated. I followed the document checklist exactly. They never asked for additional documents. Straight rejection. 😔 I cried a river walking into Zynga's office to return my badge, knowing I wouldn't see many of my office friends every day anymore. Before I close this chapter, I want to celebrate what I built at Zynga: → Executed global price optimization with C-suite buy-in, boosting ARPU by 13% and paid conversion by 24% → Launched churn prediction ML models across 3 games with 50% improvement in prediction accuracy → Shipped player LTV models with frontend integration across 50 games while managing 6 teams → Started a newsletter for the platform ML team to increase internal visibility → Planned and hosted 5 community events for the Zynga Asian Pacific Islander (ZAPI) ERG (K-pop dance class, Reel Asian Film Festival, Loy Krathong etc.) And honestly, some of my proudest moments were the small ones: 💃 Performed the Golden dance from K-pop Demon Hunter & sang karaoke at the company xmas party 🥚 A/B tested soft-boiled egg timing in the office kitchen 💗 Wore pink for breast cancer awareness 🥰 Brought camaraderie and good vibes to the office My past year at Zynga taught me an enormous amount — not just as a product manager, but as a person. 👀 I'm now looking for my next PM role in Toronto. Apr 2026Attention doesn’t drive brand love—participation does. I’ll be at POSSIBLE taking the stage with Brianna Chamberlain from Kenvue to break down how Zynga Ads partnered with Neutrogena to turn interactive media into measurable brand impact. We’ll share what actually works when it comes to moving from passive attention to active engagement—and why that shift matters more than ever. Session: The Competitive Edge in the Attention Economy: Turn Attention Into Measurable Brand Advantage When: 4/27 at 3:15 PM Where: Eden Roc, ERC 1C Hope to see you there!
Apr 2026This week has got me thinking about resumes. Why? Well because on stage at Level Up Showcase I told a crowd of students to stop using AI to write their resumes. The crowd was cheering and excited at the mention, because I don’t think they WANT to use AI to write their resumes for them either. I said, and I meant it, “your resume is the only piece of paper in your entire life that will ever speak on your behalf, why not let it speak in your words?” But why is this important? Because not all companies are using AI to screen resumes. We aren't here at T2. We have a human being on the other side in Early Careers that is reading through thousands of them and we are tired of reading the same resumes – all written by AI. The ones making it through are the ones talking to us as human beings, from human beings. For the 2K Tech Art Grad Program I read every single cover letter that was sent. For the Zynga RPM Program, I screened resumes in Toronto and I used cover letters to help me decide. Do I also think cover letters are a tad antiquated… yah I do! But that was the only part of the darn application that spoke to me on my level for many of these applicants. So…. from one human to another…. Stop using AI to write your resumes. Later on (maybe next week) I will post what I believe a solid resume looks like. A few tips and tricks for grads and students to help them build their resumes for the Fall when we post our programs in North America again across Zynga, 2K and T2. And look, do I believe recruiting will ALWAYS have a human being reading thousands of resumes? No…. I think one day this is something AI could be great at… key word being “could be”. There is a lot of work still needed to make that technology reliable, and Early Careers is way too important to us right now to rely on tech that can’t even tell me what gluten free restaurants are open at Disney without telling me about Mamma Melrose (IYKYK). Also the irony is not lost on me that I used an AI pic for attention! I promise that's the only AI you'll see from me in my posts!
