My colleagues and I from Certa.ai spent a few days in Washington at the GSK #SecureTogetherSummit2026 , and left with a lot to think about. The calibre of practitioners in the room was exceptional, and the conversations went well beyond the usual surface-level discussion. Sessions spanned agentic AI, cyber governance, third-party risk, and quantum security, with each panel pushing into the genuinely hard problems rather than the comfortable ones. One topic that stuck with me was Post-Quantum Cryptography. Zak Pantelli and Morgan Adamski delivered an eye-opening thought leadership presentation, and the message was clear: the timeline is no longer theoretical. Bad actors are already harvesting encrypted data today, assuming they will be able to decrypt it once sufficiently capable quantum computers arrive. "𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰, 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫" is not a future threat; it is a present one. The organisations that are still treating #PQC as a 2030 problem are, by that logic, already behind. The conversation shifted from whether to prioritise cryptographic agility to how fast migration programmes can realistically move, particularly across complex third-party ecosystems where you have limited visibility and even less control. That thread connected naturally back to #TPRM . You cannot have a credible quantum readiness posture if you do not know what cryptographic standards your vendors are running. It is another reason why continuous ecosystem monitoring matters more than annual questionnaires.
